Egypt football star Mohammed Salah has been declared fit and will be part of the side in their second FIFA World Cup match against host Russia.

Salah was on the bench for Egypt’s opening game against Uruguay, with head coach Hector Cuper not willing to take a risk with the forward after his shoulder injury during the Champions League final with Liverpool.

“He will be fully fit to play and I think he will be able to play. I think he is an essential piece in our team.”
