The Vodafone Fiji 7s gold medal winning coach Ben Ryan will be in South Africa to support the side in the Cape Town tournament over the weekend.
Ryan is expected to provide few technical ideas to the side in its bid to win the Cape Town 7s.
Fiji 7s manager Ropate Kauvesi says Ryan will be busy with his meetings but will be available to help the side.
“Yes Ben will also be in Cape Town with the HSBC so he will be heavily engaged with that with the promotions of rugby over here but we will be bumping into each other.”
Fiji kicks off its Cape Town 7s campaign against Japan at 11.05pm on Saturday.
They then take on Kenya at 2.06am on Sunday before playing France in the last pool game at 6.12am.
