The Vodafone Fiji 7’s side reduced 16 member squad to prepare for the first leg of the World Sevens Series will be named today.
Coach Ben Ryan has seen the boys play at the Macuata 7’s over the past two days but might have to make some last minute changes with Donasio Ratubuli and Amenoni Nasilasila getting injured in the semi-finals yesterday.
Ratubuli, who was earmarked to make his return to the international 7s arena, fractured his leg in the Fiji 1 side’s 28-5 win over Wardens Gold.
Nasilasila was left winded after copping a late tackle from former national 7s rep, Ilai Tinai on the way to dotting down a try.
The first tournament on the Calendar will be in Dubai which will be held on the 5th and 6th of next month.
