The 12-member Vodafone Fiji 7s squad to the Gold Coast 7s will be announced this afternoon at the Uprising Beach Resort in Pacific Harbor.

National coach Ben Ryan made his selection based on performance at the Pacific Energy Ovalau 7s over the weekend.

Players expected to make the cut are regular captain Osea Kolinisau, Emosi Mulevoro, Apisai Domolailai and Nadroga centre, Savenaca Rawaca.

Fiji is pooled with hosts Australia, Scotland and Portugal in the opening leg of the 2014/2015 IRB Sevens World Series.

Ryan will also name a 12-man squad to the Oceania 7s in Brisbane on the 3rd-4th October.
