Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan is not looking past the group stages of the Glasgow 7s in Scotland next weekend.

Fiji only leads to reach the Cup quarterfinals to secure an automatic qualification to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Ryan says his side cannot underestimate their pool rival, Scotland, Wales and Portugal.

“I think it’s going to make for a tough group because there are European teams, Scotland and Portugal both beat Australia in the last tournament and Portugal drew with New Zealand. So although it looks like New Zealand and Samoa have a tough group, it is a tough group for us as well.”

The Fiji 7s side will break camp tomorrow and flies out to Scotland on Saturday.

The Glasgow 7s kicks-off next Saturday.
