The Jacks Nadi side may have finished fourth on the Skipper Cup table but they will definitely turn out a different team against favourites Suva.

The two teams will meet in one of the semifinals at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park on Saturday.

Nadi is back in the Skipper semifinals after four years.

The last time they made the top four was in 2015 and Nadi Rugby Union Executive Board Member Jeff Tamata says they will be a different team altogether this weekend.

‘This week we are not leaving any stones unturned, the theme for this week is to go and rock the boat Suva is the team to beat…no doubt about that they are the defending champions laced with Latui reps top of the table leaders and Nadi’s on the fourth spot but rugby in Nadi is always in our blood it’s in our DNA and when Nadi reach the semifinal it’s a different team altogether’

Even Flying Fijians coach John McKee is looking forward to the semifinals.

Suva will host Nadi at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori at 3pm on Saturday.

In another semifinal, on Saturday, Nadroga plays Naitasiri at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka at 3pm.

The Nadi – Suva match will be aired live on FBC Sports while Nadroga and Naitasiri game will be shown live on FBC TV.
