We have selected the best: McKee

Flying Fijians coach John McKee is confident he has selected the best players for the Rugby World Cup in Japan next month.
At a Flying Fijians World Cup naming press conference today McKee says these players have what it takes to progress through as one of the best two teams in pool D.
”This is the group of players that I believe can really challenge to get to the playoffs from pool D and a group of players that can make Fiji proud the message I sent to the players is with selection for the Flying Fijians Rugby World Cup 2019 comes a responsibility and that responsibility means that they have to give their absolute best every single day”
Five players will be featuring in their third Rugby World Cup for the Flying Fijians which includes Captain Dominiko Waqaniburotu, Campese Ma’afu, Leone Nakarawa, Vereniki Goneva and Kini Murimurivalu.
Two sets of brothers have also made the cut in the likes of Josh and Sam Matavesi along with Josua Tuisova and Filipo Nakosi.
Team Captain Dominiko Waqaniburotu says they have a special group of players.
“We still have four to five weeks to go and the boys know that Rugby World Cup is a big year for Fiji and this group and leading this team is a great honor”
Notable omissions from the squad include Patrick Osborne, Eroni Sau and Albert Tuisue.
The Flying Fijians have a 10-day camp from today before their final test against Tonga in 2 weeks’ time at Eden Park in New Zealand.
Fiji opens its World Cup campaign against Australia on September at 4.45pm on September 21.
