Wales beats France in Six Nations clash

Wales made a dramatic winning start to the Six Nations as they staged a second-half revival to beat France 24-19 this morning.

France started superbly and surged into a 16-0 half-time lead with tries from Louis Picamoles and Yoann Huget.

For Wales, it was also a result of huge relief after a first half which threatened to derail their Six Nations before it had begun in earnest.

Geroge North scored the match winning try for Wales as they grabbed the maximum points in their opening match.

Meanwhile, in the Six Nation matches tomorrow, Scotland plays Italy at 2.15am while England faces Ireland at 4.45am.
