Tonga Captain Siale Piutau has nothing but pride for the boys, despite going down to England 35-3 in their first Rugby World Cup match.

Tonga managed to hold the England onslaught until the first 23 minutes as both teams were leveled at 3-all.

Piutau says their plan was to bring a lot of physicality to the game, but that was not enough to tackle England.

I think the learning is basically making our one-on-one tackles, I think taking the opportunities when they arise. I think we weren’t clinical enough when finishing opportunities were down in their half. But yeah, this is obviously learnings from the last game, learnings from this game. We are going to really improve from this.

Tonga will now face Argentina at 4.45pm this Saturday while England will take on USA at 10.45pm on Thursday.
