Culdrose naval air station wishes Matavesi well for RWC

As the country gears up for the Rugby World Cup, sailors from the Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose have sent a special message to their colleague, Sam Matavesi.

While they continue supporting England, all eyes from the air station at Helston, Cornwall will be on Sam who works in the stores warehouse.

His supervisor, Petty Officer Dean Jones led the entire staff in making a video that wishes Matavesi well for the Rugby World Cup.

Sam from everybody here, we wish you all the best for the World Cup.  Come on Sam, Good Luck Sam!

Matavesi alongside his brother Josh Matavesi will march out at the Sapporo Dome in Japan when they take on the Wallabies at 4.45 this afternoon.

He has so far made 8 appearances for Fiji since making his debut in 2013.

The Flying Fijians Hooker is the son of Sireli Matavesi.
