The 2019 Oktoberfest 7s title has slipped out of Fiji’s hands as they went down to South Africa with a narrow margin of 12-10 in the final this morning.
Fiji edged New Zealand in the semifinal 14-12.

They were trailing behind the All Blacks but Terio Tamani’s sensational try secured them a place in the final.
Terio Temani turned the game on its head and got Fiji Rugby into the #O7s final.

In pool play, Fiji defeated USA 33-5 in their opening match, beat hosts Germany 31-15 and defeated France 31-28.
On the other hand South Africa defeated Germany 31-17 in the other semifinal.
