Saqanivere appointed as National U18 coach

Master Masi Saqanavere guided the Ratu Kadavulevu Schools Under-15 team to victory in the Vodafone Deans

World Rugby Level 3 accredited coach Master Masi Saqanavere has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Vodafone National Under 18 School Boys Team.

He joins the High-Performance Unit of Fiji Rugby with a vast experience in coaching.

Saqanavere has also coached the National Under-16 School Boys Team last year in their tour to Australia and guided the Ratu Kadavulevu Schools Under-15 team to victory in the Vodafone Deans last weekend.

The Vodafone National Under-18 School Boys Team extended squad has been named for the New Zealand tour.

They will tour New Zealand to play from the 26th of next month to the 4th of October.

They will take on the New Zealand Maori, New Zealand Barbarians, New Zealand Schools Boys, and Australian Boys during this tour.

The Fiji Rugby Union is also expected to name the National School Boys Under 14, 15, 16 and 17 later this week for training camps next week.
