Fiji-born Sevu Reece scored a double for his Crusaders side to help them beat the Lions 36-10 in their Super Rugby clash last night.

The Crusaders took an early 7-0 lead five minutes into the first half with a try from Braydon Ennor and a successful conversion from Richie Mo’unga.

In the 34th minute, Reece caused havoc down the right edge, bumping off Lions forward Kawgga Smith 15 meters from the try-line, before beating four more defenders to score his first.

The Crusaders lead the Lion 17-3 at the breather.

Reece was on fire for the home team, showing more individual brilliance in the 57th minute, putting in a grubber kick inside the Lions’ 22 meter line, showing off his speed as he beat his rivals to the loose ball as he scores his second.

A classic performance from the Crusaders in the second spell sees George Bridge scoring a double and sealing the win.

In other matches, Highlanders slammed Sunwolves 52-0.
