Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s halfback Ana Roqica believes the new players in the side are developing well with Coach Saiasi Fuli.

Roqica captained the side to the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

Roqica says having new talent don the national jumper is exciting as the 2020 Olympics draws closer.

We are happy we have new young girls. I know if I don’t make it I’m so happy for the new players that are coming in, they are really talented and I believe in them that they will make it next year.  

Roqica adds training has intensified after the Oceania 7s.

The side now has two weeks to prepare for the next leg of the series without any injury concerns.

The Dubai 7s will be held from the 6th to the 8th of next month.

Fijiana is in Pool B with Australia, Spain, and Ireland.
