A new winner will be crowned in this year’s Suva Rugby Union Escott Shield competition.

This is after the defending champion Police was beaten in the semifinal by Navy at the ANZ Stadium earlier this afternoon.

Navy defeated Police by 28-14.

In another semifinal, Army beat Fire Wardens in a close encounter by 13-10.

This means Army will take on Navy in the final.
