Toulon based Filipe Nakosi is likely to make his debut for the Flying Fijians in the Pacific Nations Cup in June.

Nakosi and his brother Josua Tuisova have been in top form for Toulon in the French Top 14 this season.

Coach John McKee says he has been impressed with Nakosi’s performance for his club and could call him for the national duties later this year.

“His is one of the players who I have been following for a couple of years but certainly since he has moved to Toulon and he is playing and he is one of those players who has probably been just outside selection group for the last 12 months or so improving every week.”

McKee will call for a camp for the European based players next month in France as he begins to prepare the team for the World Cup in Japan.
