Naiqama to captain Bati side to Nines World Cup

Saint Helens centre Kevin Naiqama will return to captain the Vodafone Fiji Bati at this autumn’s Rugby League World Cup Nines.

The team to the World Cup nines has been named with players such as Penrith Panthers star Viliame Kikau, Melbourne Storm winger Suliasi Vunivalu and Dragons forward Mika Ravalawa have also been called up to the squad.

2019 NRL top try-scorer Maika Sivo of the Parramatta Eels is also set to feature

Returning to the squad are Panthers five-eight Api Koroisau, Eels centre Waqa Blake, Warriors center Taane Milne and Storm centre Isaac Lumelume.

The inaugural World Cup 9s will be played next Friday and Saturday in Sydney’s Bankwest Stadium.
