Flying Fijians Coach John McKee is happy with the way the boys performed in their 29-17 loss to Wales last night.

McKee gave credit to the entire team for putting up this performance against strong opponents in Wales.

Great performance by our players, and to really take it to this level against such a good Welsh team owes credit to all the players. Not just the players but the whole management group coaching group that gets everything together and also the players that didn’t make the final 23. Its pleasing for me that finally we got the opportunity to show what we are capable of.

Speaking about the player of the match, McKee says Semi Radradra is a world class player.

He has shown his class in this tournament, you know to be man of the match in a losing team, it’s a pretty big effort.

Meanwhile, the man of the match, Semi Radradra says he is thankful.

We knew that this was our last game, we tried to empty the tank, give everything we have got and I had to empty all the energy out of myself. That’s what all the players were doing today.

Wales are now through to the 2019 Rugby World Cup quarter finals.

Looking at other match results last night, Argentina beat USA 47-17 while Scotland thrashed Russia 61-0.

There will be no RWC matches today.

There’s only one match tomorrow where Australia take on Georgia at 10.15pm.
