Swire Shipping Fiji Warriors Head Coach Senirusi Seruvakula has high hope for newly appointed captain Frank Lomani in the World Rugby Pacific Challenge which kickoffs today.

Seruvakula says this is a chance for Lomani to show his capability in the squad.

He says Lomani has been an instrumental player for the Fijian Drua and the Flying Fijians and hoping his new role will allow him to showcase more of his talent.

“It’s a big opportunity for him. Voka has been my captain the last four years with the Drua and we need to change that so it can build confidence in Frank’s game. He’s been respected in the team and he’s going to do us good job.”

The Fiji Warriors meet Tonga A at 5 this afternoon at ANZ Stadium following the game between Junior Japan and Samoa at 2.30.
