NATHAN HUGHES SCORED FOR WASPS

Fiji-born wing Nathan Hughes’ try was not enough for Wasps as they went down to Leicester 37-14 in round six of the European Cup yesterday.

Hughes did manage a head of steam after the break as Wasps rallied, smashing his way over from short-range in the 53rd minute.

Hughes then later sent off the match after sustaining an ankle injury.

In other matches, Castres defeated Gloucester 24-22, Munster beat Exeter 9-7 while Racing 92 overcame a 46-33 victory over Scarlets.
