Stand-by prop Lee-Roy Atalifo has been called into the 31 member Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Rugby World Cup squad today.
This is because Kalivati Tawake has been ruled out as he is suffering a knee injury.
Tawake sustained this injury during the Pasifika Challenge test match against Tonga last Saturday.
Initial indications were the injury was minor and Tawake would be able to return to full training in a short time.
The injury had not responded to treatment so Tawake traveled to Suva on Tuesday for an MRI.
The results have indicated that he has a Grade 2 MCL strain.
The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians have a final training session at home today before they depart for Japan tomorrow.
They play their first game against Australia on the 21st of September at Sapporo Dome, Sapporo.
