Fiji-born outside-centre Tevita Kuridrani openly admits that his time out from the Wallabies Spring Tour really refreshed his mind and helped him coming back into the super rugby preseason.
A pectoral injury forced Kuridrani out of Test contention.
Kuridrani told rugby.com that he did not stay up to watch the Wallabies during their tour but instead he used his rare time to travel the world.
He says it really helped him a lot in getting his mind away from rugby and refresh.
The Namatakaula, Nadroga lad says he has dropped a few kilos and feeling a bit fitter and a bit faster.
He says his trip to Israel was one that really resonated with him, as a devout Christian, a reminder of his place in the world outside of rugby.
The 27-year-old scored a double in their 54-17 victory over the Chiefs last Saturday.
He says he is not preoccupied with the World Cup squad competition but a ticket to Japan is in the back of his mind.
