Government ready to assist Sporting federations with its issues

February 13, 2019 5:06 am

The Minister for Youth and Sports Parveen Kumar has confirmed they are ready to assist overseas-based players to obtain their international visa.

This was in response to Opposition MP Ro Filipe Tuisawau who claims Fijian rugby players engaged with French rugby clubs have to go to Vanuatu to get their Visa.

“Definitely, we will assist if there is a need.  That is not the only issue, all the issue that has been brought before the rugby union or any sporting organization the ministry and the government as a whole are there to assist.”
