Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive John O’Connors says they made a profit of $569,000 this year compared $200, 000 last year.

O’Connor says they made a raise of more than $300,000 of what they made in the last financial year.

In terms of Financial, we did better than last year. This year we achieved a profit of $569,000 compared to $200,000 last year.

FRU received more than $8.4m in sponsorship income throughout last year compared to $5.7m in 2017 – a boost of $2.7m.

They also raked in more than $1.92m in ‘other income’ through Affiliation Fees, awards anniversary, and a few other avenues.
