Sixteen categories will be recognised at Fiji Rugby Union awards night at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva on Friday.

FRU Chief Executive John O’Connor says is expecting a good turn-out on the night to witness the rugby stars receiving their awards.

“Our tables are almost selling out and we are urging fans who want to be part of the celebration to come and enjoy the night and celebrate rugby.”

The coach of the year nominees are Natasiri mentor Koli Sewabu, Fiji Drua’s Senirusi Seruvakula and Rewa’s Alivereti Doviverata.

Naitasiri, Suva and Northland have been nominated as the team of the year and the female 7s player list includes Lavenia Tinai, Rusila Nagasau and Ana Maria Roqica.

The awards night starts 7pm at GPH on Friday.
