The Swire Shipping Fiji Warriors beat Samoa A 48-16 to claim the World Rugby Pacific Challenge trophy at the ANZ Stadium yesterday.
The Samoans converted 3 penalties early in the match to take a 9-nil lead.
The Fiji Warriors fought back with Eroni Mawi, Tuidraki Samusamuvodre, Veramu Dikidikilati, and Frank Lomani scoring a try each to lead 24-9 at the breather.
Fiji then extended their lead with 24 points in the second spell to seal the victory.
Meanwhile, in an earlier match yesterday, Junior Japan thrashed Tonga-A 39-10.
The Fiji Warriors currently leads the table standings at the end of round 3 of the competition with 15 points, Junior Japan in second place with 11 points, Tonga A and Samoa A is in the third and fourth place with 4 and 1 points respectively.
