Fiji overtaken by Japan in World Rugby rankings

The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians have dropped from their 9th position in the World Rugby Men’s Rankings.

According to the latest update from World Rugby, Fiji is now in the 10th position after having being overtaken by Japan.

This comes after Japan won its third Pacific Nations Cup beating USA 34 – 20 in the final.

The Flying Fijians will resume camp at the end of the week to prepare for their final test match against Tonga at the end of the month.

Flying Fijians head coach John McKee will reveal the final line-up for the Rugby World Cup this Friday.

The Rugby World Cup is set to begin on the 20th of next month.

Fiji is in Pool D and will play against Australia, Wales, Georgia and Uruguay.
