The Fiji men’s open touch rugby team has started work on player’s strength as they prepare for the World Cup in April.
The side has a new strength and conditioning Coach Mario Fesaitu.
Team Captain Robert Chan says they are hoping this latest training outline will help them come the World Cup.
“Touch rugby have never had before in the past and we’re fortunate to have Fesaitu’s experience on board for this world cup and it’s a huge bonus and really helping us in terms of physical preparation, conditioning and getting ready to compete at elite level.”
The men’s open side finished 10th in its last outing in 2015.
The 2019 World Cup will be held from the 28th of April to the 5th of May in Malaysia.
