Various schools are showing a lot of support for the 2019 Deans competition this time around.

These are the comments of Vodafone Sponsorship Officer Adriu Vakarau who says the response has been amazing for them.

This is the first year that Vodafone is sponsoring the tournament and they chose to do so because the development of rugby in Fiji is very important.

“We all know the history of Deans rugby and we know that it is going to be a jam-packed crowd. So I encourage everyone to come down and experience secondary school rugby.”

The Deans quarterfinals will take place this Saturday at ANZ Stadium, Buckhurst and Bidesi Grounds and the Suva Grammar School grounds.

The first U18 quarterfinal will be between Cuvu College and Nasinu Secondary School at 9.55am, the second quarterfinal will take place between Natabua and QVS at 11.20am, the third quarterfinal will be between Lelean Memorial School and Marist Brothers High School at 2pm while the last quarterfinal will take place between Ratu Kadavulevu School and LDS at 3.30pm.

All the under-18 quarterfinals will take place at the ANZ Stadium.
