Chiefs Coach Collin Cooper is brushing off any personal criticism as his team continues to chase their first win of the super rugby season.

The Chiefs were back to work yesterday with the particular focus on defense after they considered 50-7 points in defeat of the Crusaders on Saturday.

Cooper says a fourth straight loss is piling even more pressure on the coaches, but he is not letting it get to him.

“It’s my family. I told them to ignore and it’s the industry. It’s the tough industry we are in and if you don’t like it then get out and I’m not going anywhere.”

The Chiefs meet the Hurricanes at 6.35pm Friday while the Waratahs clash with the Brumbies at 8.45pm Friday.
