Former Fijiana 7s captain Rusila Nagasau has been called in to bolster the Fijiana 15s lineup against  Samoa in their Oceania Rugby World Cup qualifiers at Churchill Park in Lautoka tomorrow.

Nagasau who featured for the Fijiana at the Oceania 7s two weeks ago didn’t play in their warm-up match against the New Zealand Development side earlier this week.

Fijiana 15s coach Alifereti Doviverata has made nine changes to his run on side for the round two clash against Manusina.

Nagasau and Lavenia Tinai have been included in the 23-member squad.

Tinai comes in at left flanker replacing Bulou Joma and Ema Adivitaloga starts on the right flank.

In the backline, Raijieli Ulunivanua starts at half-back combining with Lavenia Cavuru at fly-half.

Priscilla Siata switches to left winger while Elenoa Adinaimata starts on the right.

Rusila Nagasau will start at inside centre, Mela Matanatabua is at 13 with Aloesi Nakoci at fullback.

The match against Manusina Samoa is a must win for the Fijiana if they wish to qualify for the 2021 Rugby World Cup.

Fijiana Captain Sereima Leweniqila said after their opening loss to New Zealand Development, the team have set their sights on upsetting Samoa who thumped Papua New Guinea 65-15 in their first match.

“We were disappointed on our first outing, we have reviewed our weakness and are determined to get the much needed win”.

The Fijiana will take on Samoa Manu Sina at 4.00pm tomorrow at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
