Rt Navula U19 rugby league upsets defending champions RKS

The Ratu Navula College under 19 rugby league side has secured a semifinal spot in the Fiji Secondary School Rugby League competition.

The side upset the defending champions Ratu Kadavulevu School 8-6 in a crucial quarterfinal match yesterday.

In the other Under 19 matches, QVS beat Tavua District 24-14, Nasinu hammered Ba Methodist High 32-6 while Ba Provincial Institute defeated John Wesley College 12-8.

In the under 17 category, QVS thrashed AD Patel 20-4, Marist Brothers 16-6, Ratu Sukuna Memorial defeated Ra High School 26-10 while Nasinu Secondary hammered Drasa 30-0.

In the Under 15 division, Nasinu Panthers proved too strong beating Ba Methodist 6-4, QVS hammered AD Patel 30-14, RKS beat Natabua High 12-8 while Ba Pro won against Sila Central 24-14.

Meanwhile, the semifinals will be held at Suva’s ANZ Stadium next week.
