The Fiji Secondary School Rugby League competition continues to feed the international league market with local players.

Two students from Ratu Kadavulevu School have been picked by Australia’s Paramatta Eels and Cronulla Sharks to participate in National Rugby League.

RKS assistant principal Walesi Sokoiwasa says they hope to continue giving its players international exposure.

“We had two that went overseas two weeks ago. Solomoni Naiduki has gone to join Paramatta Eels and Jiuta Wainiqolo has joined the Cronulla Sharks. These two boys recently played for RKS in the Deans trophy last year, they got contracts this year and they have moved on. That’s great news for RKS.”

Meanwhile, schools from Tailevu are currently leading most categories in the Fiji Secondary School Rugby League competitions.

The competition will continue this weekend at Bidesi Ground in Suva.
