RKS and QVS currently leads Fiji Secondary School Rugby League

The Tailevu schools are currently leading the Fiji Secondary School Rugby League in the South-Eastern zone competition.

Ratu Kadavulevu and Queen Victoria School dominated the first four rounds over the weekend.

Fiji Secondary School Rugby League South-Eastern zone President Akuila Vute says defending champion RKS along with QVS is the leading the competition.

“The giants from Tailevu, RKS, and QVS are currently on song with their games as they have been winning all its tournaments. We also have Marist Brothers and John Wesley who pose a major threat from the Suva area.”

RKS Sports Coordinator Walesi Sokoiwasa says they’re aware of the tough competition ahead and they won’t back down when challenged by other schools.

“We know that the other schools are gunning for RKS especially schools like Nasinu Secondary who use to be the champion of rugby league in Fiji. Also, Marist Brothers are strong contenders, Queen Victoria is also coming hard this season together with the western schools knowing that they also play good rugby league.”

Round Five of the Fiji Secondary School Rugby League Competition continues this weekend at the Bidesi grounds.
