As preparations continue for the Kaiviti Silktails Rugby League, one man has vowed to give it his all for the team.

Former Bati prop Tikiko Noke says to debut in the NSW Ron Massey Cup next year is a huge step forward for Fiji.

It’s an honor and a privledge, it’s what every local player has been dreaming of and it’s been a couple of years now but to be part of the first-ever Silktails team is just a big honor.

Being one of the many waiting for this opportunity, Tikiko Noke says he’s ready to shine one more time on the international stage.

Noke has played in the Queensland Cup in Australia and has had a taste of international club footy with the Magpies.

“I was with South Logan Magpies in Australia. I was playing in the Queensland Comp. I went down for a year and it’s similar but the playing level is just totally different.”

The Kaiviti Silktails continue preparations with some players yet to join the side.

The New South Wales Ron Massey Cup will be played in March next year.
