Viliame Kikau
Viliame Kikau is a shock inclusion in Penrith’s 21-man line-up for their NRL clash with Wests Tigers this Friday.
The announcement came just days after Kikau was appearing to have suffered a serious an ankle injury.
Panthers coach Ivan Cleary named his star second-rower as an emergency yesterday.
But the Fiji Bati forward is considered an outside chance of playing in the Brisbane-hosted Magic Round despite copping a knock against Canberra.
According to the Sydney Herald, Kikau has a good chance of taking his place in the Panthers’ side, which would be a remarkable feat considering he only injured his ankle a few days ago.
Meanwhile, Fiji Bati hooker Apisai Koroisau starts at five-eighth for the Manly Sea-Eagles against the Broncos on Friday.
