Ken Irvine medal but no rookie and winger of the year awards for Sivo

Maika Sivo won the Ken Irvine Medal at the Dally M awards last night for being the top try-scorer in the NRL this season.

The Momi villager from Nadroga finished the season with 22 tries.

Sivo didn’t win the Rookie of the Year award as it went to Broncos youngster Payne Hass.

Many fans have taken to social media expressing their disappointment as Sivo failed to win the Rookie and Winger of the Year awards.

Ken Maumalo of the Warriors took out the Winger of the Year award.

Meanwhile, James Tedesco won the Dally M Medal.

Tedesco will be in action for the Roosters when they take on the Raiders in the NRL Garnd Final at 8:30pm on Sunday.
