The Fiji National Rugby League side has a good chance of winning the Gold medal in the nine-a-side tournament at Samoa’s Pacific Games in July.

Nines Coach Vulaono Dakuitoga says with the presence of seven experienced players in the squad, they will boost the side.

“Looking at players like Apakuki Tavodi, Philip Shaw, Maikeli Peters, Penione Tagituimua, Vereti Bukavesi, Wame Turaganivalu, and Luke Nadurutalo- these are players who have don the Fiji Bati jersey before.”

The Pacific Games will be held on the 7th to the 20th of July in Apia, Samoa.
