Costin to monitor players in Vodafone Cup

Fiji National Rugby League Deputy Chairman Peni Musunamasi says national rugby league coach Brandon Costin has been observing players participating in the Vodafone Cup competition.

Musunamasi adds this follows their preparation for the 2020 New South Wales Cup.

“I think we’ve seen a few talents from the round robin competition that we’ve had, has made the players, teams and the clubs competing for what we’ve been preparing for and that is the 2020 NSW Cup competition.”

Musunamasi says the appointment of the Brandon Costin has proven helpful for local coaches and players.

“Also seen the improvement what our national coach have done in the last two weeks. He was visiting all these local clubs some of which are participating in the Vodafone Cup. The coach has just left for Australia.”

Meanwhile, the Vodafone Cup competition will continue this weekend in Suva.
