A place in Oceania Cup’s pool A will be at stake for the Fiji Bati in their match against Papua New Guinea this Saturday.

If the Bati lose this match by more than 22 points, the place in Pool A of Oceania Cup will slip out of their hands.

Coach Brandon Costin says their aim is to make the final of the 2021 World Cup after being semi-finalists in 2008, 2013 and 2017.

He knows what is expected of the team come Saturday.

“The key areas we need to work on are defense, we need to restrict them from scoring points we need to work together in our defensive line and stay in control.”

The Bati take on Papua New Guinea at 4.20pm this Saturday.
