Roosters still unbeaten

The Sabeto Roosters rugby league side maintain their unbeaten streak in the Vodafone Cup Top 8 competition after defeating defending champions, KBL Saru Dragons 18-16 yesterday.

This is the Rooster’s fourth win in as many games.

Both teams went into the encounter with no losses after the first four rounds.

The Roosters now take the lead on the points table with 10 points, with the Dragons on 8 points.

The Dee Cees Nadera Panthers remain in third spot after their clash against Fair Trade Makoi Bulldogs yesterday at Albert Park was called off due to unfavorable ground conditions.

In other Top 8 games yesterday, Burenitu Cowboys thumped Pacific Energy Kinoya Sea Eagles 40-12 and the Nadi Eels and Packleader Nabua Broncos played to an 8-all draw.
