The Sabeto Roosters rugby league side will be the favorites in its Top 8 semifinal clash against Makoi Bulldogs this afternoon.

The defending champions finished in second spot on the points table after the preliminary rounds behind Saru Dragons and will be looking to reclaim it dominant status against the Bulldogs.

Leading the Roosters charge will be Fiji Bati trialist Jone Sariri, who skippered the side to the Vodafone Cup title last year.

The Roosters meet the Bulldogs in the Top 8 semi-final at 1:20pm today at Churchill Park.

Saru Dragons will face Nadera Panthers in the second semi-final at 3:20pm.
