The Vodafone Fiji Roll Ball side lost its playoff match to Russia 8-nil at the World Cup in India last night.

After losing out to Iran 32-nil in their opening match of the tournament, the Fijians were a much improved side but could not hold on for too long against the World number five team.

This was the first Fijian team to take part in a Roll Ball World Cup.

The team returns early next week.
