The Road to Gold Committee last night handed over their collection that they have been doing for the 7’s teams.

The committee executives handed a cheque of three hundred forty four thousand three hundred thirty five dollars and eighty three cents ($344,335.83) to the Fiji Rugby Union President and Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.

This amount is expected to increase as the guests present at the team naming last night donated after the cheque presentation.

The funds will be used for preparations, travelling while a portion is also expected to be given to the players.
