The Nadi Jet runners club has organized a 5km road race in Nadi this Saturday.

This will be the first of four races in the Inaugural Road Race Series.

Two races will be held in Nadi while talks are underway to hold one in Suva and another in Navua.

Club President Abhinesh Kumar says the main reason behind holding such a series is to motivate healthy living and also to have regular competitions for upcoming athletes.

The race starts this Saturday from McDonald’s Nadi at 7am.
