RKS banks on sprinter Radrudru

The Ratu Kadavulevu School will be banking on sprinter Kolinio Radudru in the Blue Ribbon race in the Coca-Cola Games this week.

School Vice-President Walesi Soqoiwasa says Radrudru has been doing well at training and he hopes he will wear the blue ribbon after the Senior Boys 100 metre final race.

“Yes Koli is doing very well and we saw him in the 100 and 200 metres and we hope he will lead in the sprint list and we have some very good sprinters in other grades and we relying on them but then the competition is always tough come to the Coca-Cola games knowing that the schools from Natabua and Marist, Grammar.”

Radrudru clocked 10.98 seconds in the Tailevu Zone last month.

He will take part in the 100, 200 and 4×100 metres senior boys relay.

The Coca-Cola Games will start tomorrow and ends on Thursday at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.
