The Ratu Kadavulevu School Under-18 side hopes to win its 25th overall Powerade Super Deans title at the ANZ Stadium in Suva today.
RKS won its first Deans title in 1961, 22 years after its inception while Queen Victoria School leads the pack with 26 titles so far.
RKS takes on underdogs Cuvu College and Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union executive, Biu Colati says it will be a nail-biting final this afternoon.
“We are forecasting that this will be a bigger final compared to last year’s finals. We were just coming from the west and we heard that there’s no more busses available in Nadroga for anyone to hire to come down and watch the games so it’s going to be a massive competition.”
RKS faces Cuvu at 4.40 pm at the ANZ Stadium.
Meanwhile in the opening match, Under 14 final sees RKS playing Queen Victoria School at 8.30am.
The Under 15 final between RKS and Lelean Memorial School starts at 9.50am. In the Under 16 final, QVS battles RKS at 11.20am.
In the Under 17 final QVS meets LMS at 12.45pm while the Under 19 final will have RKS playing LMS at 3pm.
All games will be played at the ANZ Stadium.
