The Suva Football Association is looking forward to a successful 2017 after the election of new leaders today.
In its Annual General Meeting, the association elected Ritesh Pratap as their new President, while Shalen Narayan, Ravneel Narayan and Vinay Anand Singh will serve as Vice-Presidents.
Former President Mahen Prasad stepped down from the position in December last year.
Meanwhile, Suva and Rewa played to a 1-all draw in a friendly match today.
Both the teams will feature in the Vodafone Premier League which starts next Saturday.
Lautoka takes on Labasa in the opening match of the season at 1.30pm on Saturday at Subrail Park after which they face Dreketi at the same venue at 3pm a date later.
In other matches on Sunday, Suva takes on defending champions Ba at the ANZ Stadium at 3pm while at the same time, Rewa hosts Nadi at Nausroi’s Ratu Cakobau Park.
