“I would like to dedicate this win to my mom and also to the Rewa fans and not forgetting my fellow Under 20 team mate, Setareki Hughes and also to his mom even though she’s not here but this is for her and my mom.”

Rewa coach Marika Rodu was also a happy man and says it was the team bonding that has given them success.

“This final game was very tough. We travelled to the North and played a hard semifinal against Labasa and travelling here to the west where the condition was very hot and winning the game back-to-back is something I should thank everyone in the team for their effort and as I’ve said the team beats with one heart.”

Meanwhile, Nadi coach Yogendra Dutt says despite the loss the Jetsetters played a constructive football.

“One good thing for Nadi that we’ve seen in this tournament that a lot of football was played by them and that’s a good achievement in this tournament.”

The teams now turn the focus on Vodafone Premier League which begins next weekend.
