The Rewa rugby union will kick-off their pre-season campaign on Saturday as a build up towards the Skipper Cup competition.
The team management has organized a rugby tens tournament and has invited all clubs affiliated clubs.
Rewa team official Petero Kaveni says players have a chance to impress the coaches and get selected into the extended squad.
“This tournament will help the coaches to select new players apart from the squad that were selected last year.”
Kaveni also invited, the participation of new clubs that are not registered under the union.
“The focus this year is to be in the top four in order to qualify for the HFC trophy challenge and develop the local talents to reach national and international level.”
The Rewa 10s rugby competition will be held at Burebasaga District school ground on Saturday.
